Quick path

  2. Manage Membership

Steps to cancel Times Prime

  1. Open your web browser and go to the official Times Prime website.
  2. Log in to your account and navigate to the 'My Account' section.
  3. Find and select the 'Manage Membership' option.
  4. Follow the on-screen instructions to end your subscription and turn off auto-renewal.

Before you cancel

  • Refunds: Times Prime memberships are generally non-refundable. Cancelling turns off auto-renewal for the next year while benefits remain active until the current plan expires.
  • Access to bundled partner services (such as Disney+ Hotstar, SonyLIV, YouTube Premium) ends when the Times Prime membership expires.
  • Auto-renewal is typically enabled if you paid using a credit card or a UPI mandate.

Paid through UPI AutoPay? Cancel the mandate too

Cancelling Times Prime ends the membership. If you paid with UPI AutoPay, the mandate that lets Times Prime debit your account is separate, and it lives in the UPI app you approved it in. Open that app’s AutoPay list and cancel the Times Prime mandate as well.

Questions people ask

Can I get a refund if I cancel my Times Prime membership?

Times Prime memberships are generally non-refundable. Cancelling stops auto-renewal for the following year, but you retain access to all benefits until your existing plan expires.

How do I cancel Times Prime UPI AutoPay?

Cancelling on the Times Prime website turns off auto-renewal, but mandate cancellation in your payment app is a separate step. Check your UPI app or bank app to remove the active Times Prime mandate directly.

What happens to bundled benefits like Disney+ Hotstar and SonyLIV when I cancel?

Access to bundled partner services such as Disney+ Hotstar, SonyLIV, and YouTube Premium continues until your current Times Prime membership expires. Once that period ends, access to those partner services stops.

Will I be charged again after I turn off auto-renewal?

You will not be billed for the next period once auto-renewal is turned off under Manage Membership. If you paid using a credit card or UPI AutoPay, check your bank app or UPI mandate list to ensure the recurring payment is inactive.

Does deleting the Times Prime app cancel the membership?

Deleting the app does not stop your subscription or recurring payments. You must log in to the official Times Prime website, navigate to My Account, and complete the cancellation steps under Manage Membership.
